| I watched this on the PBS app we get it on TV on Thursday. I loved it. I was a producer on the first one and wish I could have helped on the second one. Rick was a friend of mine and I miss him. I gave him lots of contact numbers. There probably is so much more that there can be another volume. I weeped throughout watching it. A masterpiece. |

| Thanks for the link: 'Broadway: Beyond the Golden Age' The stories told were extremely selective but well thought-out. The Jane White/George Abbott story was refreshing. I still think we need more Gwen Verdon, Helen Gallagher, Jule Styne, Carol Haney, and a sequence about Barbara Harris. Good focus on Janis Paige. |

| My jaw dropped when the stars of Ain't Misbehavin' talked about what they had to go through to get a taxi after a performance. I guess the documentary figured that it had no choice but dedicate a large segment to A Chorus Line. There's no question that the show is historically significant but I just feel like I've heard all those stories many times before (or is it just me?). Surely there's more to be discovered. I was also a little disappointed that there wasn't a lot of video that most of us haven't already seen. The Chita/Liza stuff was fantastic. Overall though, I LOVED the entire documentary. |
