| Brent Barrett is in his 60's...he could play Ziegfeld but not Nick opposite Beanie who is in her 20's. They could use a star in this role(and for the role of Mrs. Brice) to sell tickets and since this is based on the London production, Nick has a bit more to do though some of it is ill-conceived(like WHO ARE YOU NOW as a duet for Nick and Fanny)Here's hoping the threadbare production will be beefed up for Broadway. |
