| "Dolly" is different though, in that Matthau almost always read as older, and Dolly is after his money from that start, not necessarily in a romantic way. Dolly is after security --- and maybe some company as well. She's not gaga in love or attracted to him the way Fanny is when she sees Nicky Arnstein and his fancy tuxedo shirt. | |
