| Good question--God forbit the press release could have mentioned the name. I immediately thought of Katherine Dunham and, sure enough, she is credited as both director and choreographer for several shows starting in 1943 and going as late as the mid-'50s(her own company). | |

| I think they're referring to Katherine Dunham and Her Company (1955), which was directed and choreographed by Dunham. | |
