| I don't want to sit in a theater with an unvaccinated person belting out into my airspace. Hope she enjoys making Hallmark movies because I have a feeling that's all she'll be doing for awhile. |

| Nor am I going to pretend it's just a personal "choice". It's not a choice for the person next to her at the grocery store. It's incredibly ignorant and narcissistic to refuse to get a vaccine to save the lives of others. I don't care much about hers. | |

| And for the record I’m someone who abhors that term. But I’ve spoken to around a hundred industry professionals over the course of this weekend (the past 3 and a half days, really), including several who know her – not one of them would ever work with her or hire her again, not one of them even KNOWS anyone else they think would work with her again, and all of them said they’d be surprised if she ever worked again, at least anywhere in the realm of New York City and professional theater, unless something really changed the narrative in the near future. That clearly didn’t happen, and this was her best chance; so as hard as it is to believe for a 35-year-old multiple Tony-nominated ingenue who’s starred in half a dozen Broadway musicals over the last decade… she’s done. |

Perhaps that's "self-cancellation," but then again, I don't think we need some newfangled term for it. We really need to get rid of "cancelled" as it's already a cliched term that is losing its meaning rather quickly, that, as you have just shown us, can easily be used arbitrarily and nonsensically even by those people that claim to hate it. |

| "Every soul is entitled to live according to their convictions and work without being publicly ostracized." This Ms. Osnes person has it sort of half right: "Every 'soul' is entitled to live according to their convictions" – and, I would add, "entitled to die according to their convictions," as the massive statistics on the new cases, hospitalizations, and deaths indicate. But, as she and countless others have found or will find in short order, no 'soul' has the right to "live according to their convictions and work without being publicly ostracized." There is no "entitlement" to work, for the willfully unvaccinated; nor is there an entitlement or right for the willfully unvaccinated to work "without being publicly ostracized." The willfully unvaccinated can well expect ostracization, now and more and more going forward, most particularly in one of the most public and intimate businesses there is: the theatre. Her "statement" is a blatant orgy of anti-vax fake "research" (as she terms it) and explicit defiance and doubt-mongering of medical science, and she should be professionally shunned until the unlikely day she (like every other performer who aspires to work) presents incontrovertible proof of vaccination. |

| Agreed. Doctors have been recommending the vaccine for women who are pregnant or trying to become pregnant. So the family planning part is a "nice try." |
