It's impossible for me to see the name Karen Morrow and NOT think of this clip of her brilliantly belting the title tune to ''I Had a Ball'' (1964).
Wow, what a voice! She should've gotten a Tony nomination for that alone, and she deserved a bigger Broadway career than she had.
She did ''Sweeney Todd'' regionally and would've loved to have seen her Mrs. Lovett, but I caught her cabaret act at the Russian Tea Room.
