"Blue Moon" was 3 other songs (to the same melody) before it became "Blue Moon."
Loesser wrote a song called "Three Cornered Tune" (in waltz time) that eventually became "Fugue For Tinhorns."
"I Don't Know How To Love Him" started off as a commercial jingle (of all things) called "Kansas Morning."
"Suddenly Lucky" was cut from South Pacific to become "Getting To Know You" in The King And I. |
