Actually, I would be sure it's not at all a spoiler - wouldn't the people sitting in those seats need to be told they were going to be moving?

I think that would depend on how many people go to a Lloyd Webber show expecting to be moved.

I do. And have been.

Often.

It depends on what one wants, but I find many of his shows extremely moving. And although I haven’t seen it, the cast recording of “Cinderella” is by turns hilarious and charming and the finale left me teary-eyed.

Didn't the original production of CATS do similar, that is, rotate the front rows to the rear of he stage during the overture?
