| I agree about “The Father.” Superb. There was also a play at the Vineyard by Colman Domingo called “Dot,” which wasn’t nearly so successful, but it treated a similar topic. | |

| Agree. Dot was tremendous. Susan Stroman directed. This was the next project for Domingo and Stro after Scottsboro Boys. | |

| Sorry if I was unclear, but we don't agree. I didn't find "Dot" to be tremendous. I thought it was pretty silly--all that nonsense about fitting someone up with a suit to simulate the effect of aging, something like that? I didn't find the play very deeply explored or meaningful. I was floored a couple weeks later when I saw "The Father" about a similar subject, which I found intensely theatrical and riveting. | |
