| It's too bad you find foreign accents "frustrating" and hard to decipher. Something tells me if I had used that kind of language to complain about, say, Ken Watanabe in The King and I, I would have come in for a drubbing. And the only justification for "Mimi" is that it is a fun, catchy song and - as happens in real life - proves to be an ear worm. Your insistence on logic and reality is the same argument that people who hate musicals always trot out: "Why the hell are they singing? People don't do that." |
