| According to Playbill, they are part of the line-up. This seems odd given that the last production of the show was in 2019. Is it being remounted somewhere? |

| Possibly the Kennedy Center performance is to inspire the development of a future re-mounting, perhaps at a regional theater, which could then lead to an eventual move to Broadway. | |

| I believe David Henry Hwang has continued to work on ''Soft Power'' and has said that there are producers who still want to bring it to Broadway. I caught ''Soft Power'' a number of times, and was wowed by its humor and humanity, plus its excellent ensemble, led by Conrad Ricamora. It's great that the Kennedy Center is spotlighting Asian-AMERICANS, especially at a time when they've been subjected to racist COVID attacks. |

| I like the cast recording a LOT and would love to see the show have another life/revision. | |

| I really liked the story more than the songs. Did you see it on stage? The second act opening (panel discussion) is worth the price of admission. I did find the ending a little too patriotic for the stage. I listened to the score when it was released and still didn’t find it that interesting. | |

| Agree entirely on the second act opener. A brilliant (and hilarious!) extrapolation into the future, focusing on sociocultural and political changes. Laura |

| I wish more of the show had been like that second act opening scene. I liked the show a lot but felt it wasn't completely there yet. And with all the things that have happened in the world since Soft Power's 2019 off-Broadway run, the 2016 election and Hillary Clinton are not so appealing a subject for satire right now. I think that the show would need to be extensively re-worked if it wanted a Broadway run. |

| Is where it premiered in middle of trump administration. Very relevant and very raw feelings about election especially in heavy democrat voting San Francisco. I agree that now it has lost its current status. It’s becoming more of a period piece even though it takes place in the future. A big revision is needed. I know people around were confused by time period issue so maybe cleaning that up in the beginning would help with some of the relevance issue. I did see it twice at Curran which is rare for me. | |

| I had to translate part of THE KNIGHTS in grad school. The intersection of political satire and comic entertainment are, I think, eternal to human nature. Laura |
