I wish more of the show had been like that second act opening scene.
I liked the show a lot but felt it wasn't completely there yet. And with all the things that have happened in the world since Soft Power's 2019 off-Broadway run, the 2016 election and Hillary Clinton are not so appealing a subject for satire right now. I think that the show would need to be extensively re-worked if it wanted a Broadway run. |
