I'm guessing wizrdofoz27 was referring to the fact that it hasn't been rescheduled, and we haven't heard about any plans to do so.

I agree it's a little surprising. It seemed like a promising asset for their programming. I'd think they would've wanted to hold onto that project, the way most theatres have rescheduled the shows that we cancelled from the pandemic.

It was scheduled by artistic director Viertel

I assume the new director deBessonet is not interested in the show even though she was going to direct it.

Maybe it was a scheduling issue with Ashley Park and they'll program it next year. Or yeah, maybe it's gone.

Perhaps, but Ashley Park IS scheduled to appear in Encores’ “Into the Woods” this season - so I’d assume “Millie” is out for now.

I personally think it’s going to be difficult (though not impossible) to make the problematic parts of this show less problematic. Maybe the revisions are taking longer than expected?

Not that there couldn't have been additional thoughts since then, but it *was* just under two months from being onstage when theatre shut down. Maybe a script wouldn't have been final, but I'd think that's close enough that major issues would have been handled.

But there might have been second thoughts about the solutions they came up with?

Yes, I can totally see how revisions that might have been acceptable a year and a half ago would now no longer be acceptable. People have gotten much more easy to offend in the last year and half.

I don't think that's the point.
