After seeing the show earlier this month, I did a pretty exhaustive search on the dancing ensemble. In addition to Candy Brown, Loretta Abbott and Jimmy Roddy, I found that Spencer Henderson and Neil Jones were the men with Liza in "I Gotcha." The two were also the only dancers from the special that joined Minnelli on a pared-down version of the show on tour.
Both Henderson and Roddy succumbed to AIDS in the 80s and 90s, and Jones passed away in 2019 at 78. Loretta Abbott died in 2016 at 83.
Louise Quick assisted Fosse on the special, but not sure if she performed, as it was hard to make out individual faces.The rest are a mystery to me. |
