For years I have not gone to see Wicked and this concert has cemented my decision to stay away !
I find most of the score trite. I have seen Pippin innumerable times and love that score: so happy they did release that dvd to forever attest to wonderful staging and great Ben Vereen
I did like a few performers in the concert especially Alex Newell (the use of 4 pianos was terrific) and Amber Riley.
I know that Wicked is adored by many but I am not one
