| I have a long history with this show. I first saw the Lincoln Center production with Alfred Drake as a teenager, then appeared in a production as The Wazir. It is certainly operettaish in style, no surprise there considering the adapters, Wright and Forrest. I have no idea if you will like it or not, most people I know feel strongly about it, love it or loathe it. If you do get to go, I hope you enjoy it. |
