| As you now can see, the information on which your theory was based is incorrect but it's worth noting that your premises are also incorrect in two material respect. First, I don't know where you saw that 13% nonsense but it is wrong. Blacks in NYC are 40% 1st shot vaccinated (whites are 51%). (All other ethnicities are higher.) Second, the notion that black plays at MTC attract black audiences is ill-informed. Equally ill-informed is the notion that all blacks or whites in NYC are potential audiences members. In fact, sadly, a large share of the unvaccinated are poor, and that's what they have in common. And guess what? Very very few poor people don't go to Broadway shows, even with discounts, even for free. Nice try but racist ideas never end up well. |
