YouTube has a few clips of ''Timbuktu,'' the African reworking of ''Kismet.'' It was festively costumed and ran for nearly 250 performances.
dbdgdb, maybe this'll refresh your memory: Kitt performing ''In the Beginning, Woman,'' a new song Forrest & Wright wrote for the show.
In all, ''Timbuktu'' got 4 Tony nominations, including one for Kitt, who toured with it. Has anyone ever revived this musical since then? |
