I hope all you East Coast Chatterati have come through the rains from Ida safely, and that recovery from the floods comes as quickly as possible. This SoCal gal has trouble, even with her writer’s imagination, conceiving that much water. Our 2021 rainfall total has yet to top five inches; the total from October 2020 to today is 5.82. There were supposed to be invited dresses to ''Hadestown'' and ''Waitress'' last night. Hope they went OK and reopen safely tonight. Deadline.com reports that the Public canceled last night's ''Merry Wives of Windsor'' an hour before their performance.
