A friendly reminder that we all have racist ideas, and acknowledging that - rather than being defensive or appalled at the idea - is the first step in creating a truly antiracist society.
Ibram X. Kendi's "How to Be an Antiracist" is a very illuminating book about how racism runs through all of us and what we can do to make meaningful societal change. |
