It was indeed a huge cast.
A friend of a cast member told me all the protocols were followed – but I don't know what they were, or what the circumstances may have been.
Of course the same thing could happen on Broadway at the drop of a hat; hopefully not...
It's curious that the MUNY's CHICAGO featured a male actor performing the role of Velma Kelly, and a female performing the role of Mary Sunshine. |
