| As someone who teaches at a liberal arts college in New York City where Covid is running rampant even though the school claims to have an 80% vaccination rate among its students, I think ryhog is underestimating how easily it is for these flare ups to happen. | |

| I agree with you. I think it is far easier to catch than people may realize. I've spoken about that before on this board as a vaccinated person who tested positive. | |

| Fauci on occasion has mention this occurrence, but does not repeat it every day -- vaccinated people who get a little sick (they assume it's just a cold or a mild case of the flu) do not always seek to have a covid test performed. They just ride it out until they get better. Unfortunately that means that there is no definitive way to know how many breakout cases are really happening and thus spreading to other unvaccinated individuals. |
