A prominent nonprofit producing house with their own (beautiful) venue, an annual operating budget in the millions, the financial support of having birthed "Spring Awakening," "The Band's Visit," and the upcoming Sarah Silverman musical ... of course they have clout. As a small producer, I look at The Atlantic and drool in envy. Except on nights like yesterday.
