Ann, I agree it might be a poor choice of words and not a big deal, but once the original poster's words were described as 'offensively judgmental and nasty' it became personal and a big deal. Does it help calling someone, 'nasty'? It's so easy to immediately shut people down, and of course, would we say this to each other's faces? I think we're all on the same side here.
And a quick dictionary check says 'slovenly' can be about appearance or actions, although it's probably primarily used for appearances. Peace out. |
