People keep pointing to Grease but I do think it comes off differently because they're ALL too old in Grease so it sort of just sets this tone that thats just how it is - but in DEH (from what I'm hearing - I have not seen it yet) it seems like the issue is Platt looks older than his costars - if they'd cast all the kids older maybe it would have worked?
