| For me it was "Life Is" from Zorba. And then three weeks later, at 17, I was in NYC, and saw it. My first B'way musical on B'way. I will never untether the Tony telecast from my experience in the last row of the Imperial. But to Ann's point below, we're all probably basing our responses to deeply personal nostalgia-fueled perceptions that the Tonys are gone forever. I'll try to keep an open mind after seeing the 9-11 broadcast. |
