Fascinating! ''Marat/Sade'' opened in Dec. 1965, but she wouldn't have gotten her nomination till spring 1966; the Tonys were June 16, 1966.

And her win for ''Three Tall Women'' came at the Tonys on June 10, 2018, so I'd count a span of 52 years. Which is still quite a record.

I wonder if she beats costume designer Jane Greenwood, too. Her first Tony nomination was ''Tartuffe''; the Tonys were June 13, 1965.

She finally won for ''The Little Foxes'' on June 11, 2017. That would be a span of 52 years as well.

What would break the apparent tie is the dates of their first Tony nomination, but I couldn't find them online. Anyone know?
