Relatedly, let's TRY to remain aware that someone has to pay for everything that we see on our screen. And for this, it's the production that has to pay. If your play is closed or closing, how do you justify spending that money (assuming you even have that money).

Earlier I posted in a thread in which folks were dismayed that beloved actors were not jumping on the Tony stage to perform some of their signature songs. I pointed out that things in the theatre (or in anything really) don't just happen.

There is a common theme here.
