| I think Juanita Hall's rendition of "Bali Ha'i" on the OCR is one of the most beautiful Broadway show recordings ever. Ezio Pinza did a cover of it on one of the reissues, also lovely. But Ms. Hall's version is so evocative and paints the pictures with the materials Rodgers and Hammerstein gave her so wonderfully with her singing. |
