| Co-starring Ruth Negga, Sam Gold directing, at The Lyceum, opening night April 28. The poster art looks like a bad, self-published sci-fi novel. |

| ... that's exactly what that poster looks like! (And a bad, self-published sci-fi novel from the '70s at that.) | |

| It does kind of represent it. Macbeth seems like the leader but it’s really his wife that is pulling the strings emerging as the real villain. | |

| Sex is pulling the strings. I am an ardent Daniel Craig fan,, but I would much prefer seeing Tom Hardy as Macbeth. | |

| Dear God, that “art.” Not bloody, bold, or even resolute. Nice concept, pitiful execution. “There's no art To find the mind's construction in the face." I’ll say. |

| Tickets went on sale at 11am for AmEx holders. They are holding back a lot of the orchestra for premiums that aren't on sale yet (probably gauging demand). Last two rows of the balcony are only $45, though. I really dislike the new Telecharge interface for some of the shows. There's no calendar, so you can't see which dates and times the show is being performed unless you go through them in the sets of three they show at any given time. And I also miss the grid that showed you the pricing for each section; now you have to click individually to find that out as well. |

| Had that show been officially cancelled? As for Macbeth, another reason for me to not go to broadway this spring with flying over sunset closed. I think doubtfire is the only show left on my list. |

| It was one of the "We're still coming, just not there" announcements quite a while back. Avoiding the cost of holding onto the theatre, presumably. They were still a couple weeks from previews at shutdown, so maybe not completely moved in. | |

| Sorry, couldn't resist. ;-) Also of note is that this is being produced by his Bond bosses Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson |

| I wonder if this production was a contractual requirement either for the upcoming Bond film or for another one after that. | |
