| Lots of laughs and good performances. Only one weak link acting wise, IMHO but I don’t wanna call the performer out. Urie, of course, steals every scene he is in. No easy feat with some of the women here. Some serious moments but in a Tyler Perry/Madea movie sorta way. Worth a visit. I was on a tight schedule with my commute. Website said the performance was 90 minutes with no intermission. Show started at about 8:10 and ended at 10:05. No intermission. |

| A friend went Saturday night and claims the audience couldn't stop laughing. It's good to hear this show may win people over. Michael Urie adds a lot to any show he's in. | |

| I saw an early preview, the TodayTix $29 seat was front row! I had a lot of fun, and laughed a lot - which was much needed these days. Is it something worth Broadway prices? I'm not sure. The set, and costume and staging are all weak. But the cast is terrific and the play is quite funny (if a bit bloated). For me, the only shortcoming was the wildly (probably unintentionally) dishonest running time. It runs 2 hours, NOT 90 minutes. And they really need to update this on listings for the bridge & tunnel crowd. It's a big difference. |

| Yes, TodaysTix is fine in getting that $29. ticket, but you also had a $14. service charge/ delivery to add to it. The total cost is $41. still is a decent deal. | |

| I think $41 is a spectacularly good deal for a front row seat. | |

| I had a good time at yesterday's matinee, though perhaps I didn't enjoy the show as much as others here did. There's a shift in tone in the second half that needs to be blended more smoothly into the piece. We go from broad farce to family drama, it seems. Perhaps this will smooth out in previews. The playwright is a witty observer and his characters are sharply drawn, and played just as sharply. Michael Urie is one of our best comic/character actors. He's created a detailed and singular character in every show he's done. I was happy to be back at a Saturday matinee, even when most of the audience had dressed for a picnic in Central Park. | |
