I saw an early preview, the TodayTix $29 seat was front row! I had a lot of fun, and laughed a lot - which was much needed these days.
Is it something worth Broadway prices? I'm not sure. The set, and costume and staging are all weak. But the cast is terrific and the play is quite funny (if a bit bloated).
For me, the only shortcoming was the wildly (probably unintentionally) dishonest running time. It runs 2 hours, NOT 90 minutes. And they really need to update this on listings for the bridge & tunnel crowd. It's a big difference. |
