It was fun to see Kelly Marie Tran and members of the Asian-American cast of ''Soft Power'' sing the show's stirring ''Democracy'' finale.
I only wish the musical's leading man, Conrad Ricamora, had been there, too, but apparently he's busy doing some filming.
The ''Soft Power'' ensemble closed the concert with ''Glory,'' the Oscar-winning anthem, joined by Common, who co-wrote it, and Joshua Henry. |
