| Irrespective of its merits, this is a play that Broadway should welcome enthusiastically, for its almost exclusively black cast, its primarily black production staff, and the unusually diverse audience it has bee attracting. Norm Lewis and Michael Urie were the only names I recognized, but the entire cast thrives on this material. Unless you have a low tolerance for situation comedy, you should find something to enjoy here. I don't remember the last time I was in an audience that laughed so hard. |
