I got there around noon and stayed for about an hour. A good-sized crowd though not as jam-packed as in the past. Lots of programs and posters and CDs but it was lacking the unique show-specific things that made pre-pandemic fleas special. Due to Covid, no food and no autograph table. The silent auction hawkers were doing a good job touting their merch in Shubert Alley, but the loud auction was moved to Duffy Square itself and I left several hours before it was to begin; I feared that the din of Times Square traffic and tourists would make it difficult to hear the auctioneer-can anyone report?

Among the winning bids at the Grand Auction were: $16,200 for Jules Fisher's 1973 Tony for ''Pippin's'' lighting, and $15,000 for a virtual meet-and-greet with Patti LuPone and VIP tickets to ''Company.'' And nine Al Hirschfeld prints, signed by the Broadway stars depicted in them, raised $57,100.
