| Although Rosie O'Donnell is Irish ... she comes across as "tough" and "lower class" which Mrs. Paroo shouldn't be. I hope they cast a real actress in the role and not a "celebrity". | |

| Actually, Rosie isn't a bad actress, in fact her Golda in Fiddler on the Roof exuded a lot of warmth and motherly love. | |

| You still don’t get it. The actress playing Paroo doesn’t need to exude charm or sweetness. She can a total bitch in real life. She just needs to ACT like she has charm and sweetness, something Rosie is talented enough to do. | |
