| Admittedly a Streisand fan, is the show worth reviving unless it's for a star making turn for Beanie? The second act never worked very well. Were changes made to the book? Maybe a fresh reimagining in staging will help but I just don't know. It's a good show, not great, with a great score. Looking forward to reactions to the show. I've been in a regional production and saw it down here in New Orleans at Tulane. A sad effort I thought. Most of the humour was lost but that's another story. Is this a must see? All our slots are filled already for our upcoming trip. We may have to plan another followup trip. Can't wait. |

| The sense I have is that box offices are opening roughly a month before previews begin in respective theaters. If I’m right, it wouldn’t be until February (Funny Girl opens starts previews in March). | |

| For pass over and probably stay open for slave play. The question really is whether the open boxoffice will sell tickets for FG now. I don’t know that answer. The one month rule is usually for theaters that have been dark for months. | |

| I think it’s questionable if slave play comes back to New York since it’s West Coast performances were canceled. | |
