| What percentage of people are carrying around $400 IN CASH (per ticket - or $800 for a pair) these days? Ok, maybe a few 1%ers in their Teslas or whatever they are driving, but most people don't carry very much cash. They are most likely not going to give a scalper info to pay them by Venmo or Paypal, etc. which can somehow be traced to their phone. And what percentage of people going to a hit show pay the scalpers? Screw the scalpers, too! I have no sympathy for the producers, who stand to lose a relatively small percentage of what they are massively over-charging, even in that case. |
