Does the California law say that the gender-neutral dressing room has to be separated by a wall? An awful lot of theaters are very small and might have difficulty making that accommodation. It's not clear from any of the articles whether Reid is claiming that solution was legally unacceptable or whether it was more that the Hamilton management found the original request annoying and labeled Reid as a troublemaker.

Putting aside the gender-neutral space, does either California law or Actors Equity dictate that men and women have to have dressing rooms separated by a wall?
