Mare Winningham does the best that she can do in a fairly underwritten role the she acts catatonic for much of her stage time. I saw this show a few weeks ago and even though they were comped tickets I couldn't get the bitter taste out of my mouth from this disappointing mix of Grapes of Wrath and Spoon River...A Bob Dylan juke box musical that draws a grim story to band them together.
