| I forget the year (2000 ish) when the NBA All Star Game was at MSG. The halftime show was a salute to Broadway. A bunch of shows did a medley on the court. Beyond poor choice of genre for the event (gonna go out on a limb and say that Broadway shows and NBA games have a small crossover fan base), it just did not present the material well. Lio syncing and choreography were off, and the numbers presented were just jarringly out of proportion with the venue and entirely out of context. I felt bad for all involved. |
