That's a good point
I agree people dress very causally now. It's the particular brand of casual that seems off to me, as if the show is set in a different city. The look reminds me more of Chicago than NY. Not slamming Chicago. I love living here, but when I moved to Chicago after 30 years in NY it was noticeable to me that people dress differently here.
Not necessarily more casual, just different in a way that I can't quite articulate. Perhaps not noticeable to many people.
On a side note, audiences in Chicago tend to dress up more when attending theater and that feels refreshing. |
