I was thinking of ''Piece of My Heart,'' the 2014 Off-Broadway musical that starred Zak Resnick as pop songwriter Bert Berns. Resnick was terrific in it, and there was talk of it moving to Broadway, but sadly that seems like it fell apart. Any news? (The show in St. Louis is Shirley Lauro's ''A Piece of My Heart,'' a play about nurses serving in Vietnam. What a difference an A makes!)
