I cannot imagine that AEA wouldn't have something to say about Buckley coming with the production. While her fame in the UK may be debatable, she is completely unknown in the US. And, clearly, there is no lack of actresses available here to play this role.
That said, if it became a MISS SAIGON-esque situation where producers threatened to cancel the entire production if Buckley wasn't allowed to come over, I imagine that AEA would back down, as they did over MISS SAIGON. |
