I agree 100%. I've seen my share of ''West Side Stories,'' onstage and on-screen, I've never been so involved and invested in Tony and Maria.

As portrayed by Ansel Elgort and Rachel Zegler, Tony and Maria embody young love, so innocent and naive,

They connect as soon as they meet behind the bleachers at the gym to the balcony scene, where their voices blend beautifully into ''Tonight.''

Often, ''One Hand, One Heart'' is just two kids play-acting at getting married.

But in the Steven Spielberg movie, I felt the depth of Tony and Maria's devotion and undying desire ''to make of [their] lives, one life.''
