| I didn't get the connections to "Sunday in the Park" nor "Follies" I guess because I hope someone trying to copy those works of art would create something better or at least more interesting than "Flying Over Sunset." I do see now however what you mean. I agree that Cusack and Yazbeck do try their best but in the end are defeated by their material with the exception being Yazbeck's tap mumber which also showcases the one performer who in my mind sails above this material and doesn't let the show get them down and that is Atticus Ware. I hope this young performer gets in the future some material which will truly let them shine. |
