well yes the original production was, but there was an independent producing decision to reopen and, as with every other show that decided to reopen, it took some audaciousness. Producing is a moving picture, not a photograph. :-)
The story as I understand it is that Etai Benson got sick, the first Paul understudy had already gone on as Theo, and that the second understudy for Paul had not been rehearsed adequately. |
