I don't live in New York, but I travelled often to see shows that interested me. I will no longer do that. It's not due to Covid or food poisoning. It's due to the astronomical prices being quoted for shows that don't have a modicum of the entertainment value of the "golden age." People paying astronomical prices for the like of SIX, etc. deserve the limited entertainment that they receive. As for MM, the film is so good that one doesn't need to be hogtied to a horrendously priced seat to see it again. Thank goodness I saw "The Boy From Oz" and "Millie" and "Drowsy Chaperone". I'm sorry to say that though it's been since the 1950's, it's a case of been there done that. Most of you will disagree, but you haven't seen what I've seen.
