There isn't one answer to your question and it's not you or anyone's business on message board(s) to know this. The sum total of all of this information for every currently running Broadway production is very likely not known by one person.
Most of the "stagehands" that work on Broadway shows are members of Local 1, which is an hourly contract that might or might not have flat rates for show calls. In theory one would not get paid for hours one did not work, but I am not a member of Local 1 and I am not privvy to their contract with the theaters/productions in question. Some "stagehands" that work on Broadway are employed directly by the production on what is known as a Pink Contract. Pinks are paid a flat weekly salary and generally cannot be pro-rated for anything less than (I believe) 4 days of work.
Wardrobe and Hair are different locals with different terms/deals.
I have no idea what the terms are for Actor's Equity Contracts or AFM (musicians) or any of the other many unions that work in a Broadway theater. Not to mention that many performers negotiate above and beyond the minimum conditions and rates that their union negotiates.
I suspect most if not all of the shows affected are paying their employees out of kindness and good business, even if they are not required to. |
