The gimmick for the stage was having Spider-Man and the villian battle it out above the audience. It was impressive. But the score is crap. Admittedly, I saw the first version of the show with confusing plot and crappy songs. Maybe the songs were improved for version 2. Makinf. film version based on the stage with special effects would give no advantage but really show how bad the score is.
Maybe it can be paired with a movie version on Lestat with bad Elton John score. So sad that Anne rice died a few days ago. |
